This is still my favourite work of all, it’s great to get outside again having been in a studio all winter, and to see the friends that I worked with last summer.

I am freelance but tend to have been part of the main stage crew put together by SSE Hire LTD, for the last 3 ish years. This makes for a good working team as we do Festival after Festival or gig with the same bunch of people, so there’s continuity within the team. We all work well together and get on with the job in hand, as well as being mates.

Perfect job if you ask me !!

Doing something you love with people you get on with, and getting paid hurrah !!

A muddy festival ! I do know there will be 1 every weekend some where between mid May and Sept/Oct. All subject to change without prior notice (of course:)

I normally spend quite a few weeks in Ireland, doing the same vibe there, but who knows what this year will bring?I will endeavor to keep you up to date with where in the world I am.

Over the winter months I have freelanced for PIP Recording for 6 years. This involves driving to venues throughout the UK, and recording a 2-track master onto DAT, of whatever speech, or function has been requested.

They normally leave their equipment with me, until I disappear off the face of the earth over the summer !
